. Today’s Scripture . “Look among the nations and watch—Be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it were told you.”Habakkuk 1:5 NKJV. . Thoughts for Today . Things did not make sense to Habakkuk. Everywhere he looked there was violence and injustice. The wicked always seemed to triumph. He felt that God caused him to see these things, though He wasn’t taking any action, so he asked, “Why do You show me iniquity, and cause me to see trouble?” (v. 3) . God assured him that He did know what was going on and that He would avenge every wrong. He even promised to answer in ways that would surprise Habakkuk: The prophet would “be utterly astounded!” The Lord was doing a work that would be hard to believe. . Through this experience, Habakkuk’s eyes were opened. When we cry out to God for answers, it may seem like He isn’t doing anything and isn’t answering our prayers. When we face needs, we can wonder if He really is hearing us or if He truly will help. . At times like these, it can be easy to have questions and even be filled with doubt. . We can stop believing or place limits on the flow of God’s blessings and power. But, as Habakkuk learned, God hears and sees everything. His plans are secure. His judgments and timing are perfect. And He is always faithful. . It’s crucial to realize that, with God, nothing is impossible. He can do “far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20). There are no limits to His power. His resources are beyond our comprehension. . When you think about your needs, don’t limit God. Think about the vastness of His creation! Think of His overwhelming abundance! . Commit every burden to Him. Trust Him. Let Him speak to you. And get ready—He may answer your prayers in ways that surprise and amaze you. . Prayer : Our Loving Heavenly Father, I believe that You can do anything. Thank You that I can trust in You. I commit my needs to You. Thank You for answering my prayers. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray, Amen.” . Have a Blessed Friday and God Bless you. .
