Pray that they will not feel satisfaction over completing the Hajj, but that they will search for Jesus Christ . . GUINEA, WEST AFRICA . President Alpha Conde won reelection in Guinea. His ruling party, the Rally of the Guinean People, secured fifty-three seats in parliament. The opposition party won thirty-seven parliamentary seats. Sydia Toure, opposition party spokesman, refuses to recognize election results because it was fraught with “irregularities” and does not “reflect the people’s vote.” International observers claim that “breaches and irregularities were observed in a certain number of constituencies, preventing a significant number of votes from being taken into account.” . According to Human Rights Watch, the Thai parliament passed a law providing “blanket amnesty to all people involved in political unrest, including protest leaders, military personnel, and authorities responsible for ordering and commanding the crackdowns.” Brad Adams, Human Rights Watch Asia Director, says, “The proposed amnesty would allow officials and protest leaders who have blood on their hands to go unpunished. By whitewashing past abuses, the government denies justice to victims and tells future abusers they have little to fear.” .
