According to the Kabul police, “A suicide car bomber using a Toyota Corolla targeted a foreign military convoy in Kabul’s 9th precinct, wounded more than seven civilians, and destroyed a foreign military vehicle.” Last year, 151 NATO troops died in Afghanistan. Pray for peace in Afghanistan. Pray for an end to the Taliban’s influence and power in this South Asian country. Because of this reshuffle, all ministers of the Kuwaiti government submitted their resignations to the prime minister. . Due to political strife, Bangladesh Believers are living in “utter fear.” The government is not protecting religious minorities from communal forces. Consequently, according to the Bangladesh Adivasi Forum, “The communal forces are attacking the minorities, burning their houses, and destroying their temples and properties. The attacks are a part of a conspiracy to drive minorities out of the country.” . Pray for an end to political unrest in Bangladesh. . Pray for the government to protect religious minorities from violence by the communal forces. . Ask the Lord to surround the Bangladeshi Church with a hedge of protection. . JAPAN, EAST ASIA . After Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe infuriated China by visiting a war shrine honoring 14 “Class A war criminals,” the Chinese government accused him of attempting to “restore Japan’s status as an aggressive military power” which China said it will not allow. Chinese Ambassador to London Liu Xiaoming says, “Japan risks a serious threat to global peace by rekindling the militaristic spirit that helped cause the Second World War.” Critics fear the increasing tension between Japan and China could result in “a major military conflict.” .
